# Data scope

This edition contains 12 records: 9 profiles/references and 3 startup snapshot. 7 profiles are reference-only and excluded from automatic fit comparisons. Historical facts and observed investments do not establish current investor mandates.

The source-specific bases distinguish independent factual summaries, original annotations, NSF agency-text policy, Crown content under OGL and Parliamentary information under OPL. Corporate filings and contributed reports are not automatically public domain. No article mirrors, filing tables, biographies, signatures, photographs, logos or private correspondence transcripts are reproduced.

The CC BY grant covers only original editorial contributions and rights the publisher holds. Linked source works retain their rights. This is an editorial release assessment, not legal certification, blanket source permission or retroactive clearance of earlier source access. Retain dates, unknowns, source links, licence notices and limitations. No named organization or person endorses this dataset. See [SOURCES.md](SOURCES.md).

Version 0.5.0 separates the existing research, declarative matching criteria and original suggestion text into provider components. This reorganization adds no investor topic, source permission or historical claim. Provider quality entries are declarations, not independent certifications. The fictional provider example is separate, explicitly invented and MIT-licensed; it is not part of the real research dataset.

Version 0.6.0 adds hypothetical provider-authored self-test inputs and expected candidate sets to the matching component. These are not historical facts, independent quality ratings or new investor-topic evidence. The real package has no positive-match coverage.
